The December edition of FinTech magazine is now live, check it out here.
“At the moment, we have more demand than we can handle,” says Maarten Ectors, Chief Innovation Officer at Legal & General, in this month’s cover feature. As we discover, that’s no bad thing for Ectors and his Future Ventures team.
He and the small group of innovators that comprise the team seek out and solve what they call ‘Harry Potter problems’ - issues, he says, that “businesses and organisations have tried and failed to solve, and who don’t know who to turn to for a solution”. The only remaining course of action for such companies is to approach innovators like Ectors, who are capable of rapidly bringing new technologies and business approaches to the fore that can solve problems cheaper, faster and more effectively than anyone else.
In this issue we also bring you some exclusive content from October’s Money20/20 USA event. This includes interviews with President of Money20/20, Tracey Davies, and ethical hacker Alissa Knight, who revealed the astonishing results of her recent research at the show. Turn to page XX for more.
We also explore the digital journeys of several other leading organisations in the financial services sector, including ING, Meridian Credit Union, Libertex Group and C2FO.
