Emirates has now launched its app in Arabic, totalling the number of languages available to 19. Other languages available include English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Czech, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil & Portugal), Polish, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Turkish.
The Emirates app currently has over 600,000 monthly downloads as customers use to app to make and manage bookings, track their flight details and access their Emirates Skywards accounts. Emirates reported that in 2018, a quarter of all ticket sales were made from the app, and over 40% of customers used it to check-in for online flights.

Earlier this year, the Emirates app was upgraded to provide customers the opportunity to create their own playlists for their inflight entertainment ahead of their flight, and synchronize it to their flight seat. These technological advancements will undoubtedly keep the airline at the forefront of luxury air travel.
